IMPROVED K-27, a.k.a., owned by someone other than Batman.

Uh.... not exactly...
GFRR #12 is based to the ver original K-27 design by Baldwin in 1903. The only changes I made were the diamond stack and solid cast lead wheels.

I was joking at the fack that it was made in a color other than black.

Looks like it's coming out of Vance Junction heading toward Placerville before crossing the river. This should still fit within what you're trying to do. ^^

I'd really like to see this comic when it gets finished/becomes available , for I like the premise of mixing furry with steam railroading. Bit of a closet furry, but I make no bones about loving steam engines (love all trains really, but steamers will always be my favorites). I'm very impressed with the quality of all your work, and my engineer's cap goes off to you, for I wish I was half this good with my own railroad art.
Would be it too much to ask if I might do a piece that features the Gunpowder Falls stock and characters? I'm struck with the idea of wanting to have a meet between a GFR engine and one from my own road, the Mule Valley Railroad, maybe the MVRR engine would be a visitor as leased power or at an interchange point.
In any case, I look forward to seeing more excellent art such as this, and again, bravo and well done!
Keep 'Em Rolling,
Brendan O.

Thanks, I really appreciate the kind words! Send me a note and perhaps we can talk about that possibility in more detail.

This is super cool Cowboy! This mainline mountain railroad gives me a craving for The Old West! I love that K-27 all dolled up and with her original compound cylinders.

The early configurations of the K-27s I've always had fondness for. Especially the "As-Built/As-Delivered" versions.

I looks like this is the best train artist Ive ever seen, If I wrote books, I would hire you to be my main artist because this is fantastic.

Thank you! I really wanted to capture the look and feel of a locomotive storming up-grade. Hopefully the fireman can keep the fire stoked!
