Good old stormtrooper, you take all the crap in the Star Wars series. Sure, you're better trained and armed, and you're usually present in larger numbers when fighting against the 'good guys', but you still get your asses kicked.

I know man, I'd be pretty pissed if every single time Princess Leia shot my blast-proof armor, the plates experienced some sort of critical failiure. And damn it, those E-11 Blastech rifles will never shoot where you're aiming, but only when you're off the shooting range so you're completely shafted despite hours of training on your own, in addition to the undoubtedly rigorous military training you recieve.

Regardless, here's a recruitment poster for the Imperial Academy. I wanted to do a 'Hero Shot' of a Stormtrooper, because seriously, these are just dudes in uniform trying to make a days living. It's not their fault that Darth Vader told them to shoot such-and-such, and it's pretty unlucky that they end up having to face off against Jedi and the such.

I tried to make it look slightly on the heroic side, while at the same time vaguely monotonous - by using only black and white - to reflect the uniformity of Stormtroopers as a group.

The worded message was originally going to be longer, but I decided the Empire seemed pretty no-frills (Comeon, Tie fighters have absolutely no shields at all - wtf is up with that, man?) so I cut it down to just 'ENLIST'.
