Description Made this in depth colour guide because I needed one with every colour aspect of all the ponies in one document.

Feel free to use, these are official Colour-Corrected colours.

I'll make more of different ponies if the demand becomes great enough.

Do not save it from the preview image.
The colours become all messed up when in that form.
Download for best colours.

Full size in download.

Hello there! Great work here that I'm sure comes in handy for everyone.
However I would like to suggest you put the HEX, RGB, CYMK numbers and possible Pantone colours.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GuruGrendo In reply to GuephRen [2012-08-08 20:03:59 +0000 UTC]

I've had plans to do that.
I'm going to be updating this later on after I get everything else out of the way.
Those numbers are a part of the plan.
Thank you for your input though, it just goes to show that it's more in demand than I thought it was.

the eyes on twilight and fluttershy are messed up, also shouldnt rarity's eyelash color be marked as a accessory?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GuruGrendo In reply to chibi-puppy-spot [2012-06-01 16:03:51 +0000 UTC]

All the eyes are stock, the only reason Rarity's is different is because hers are such a dramatic change from the others.
It's all just to simply show the way the eyes irises and shines are positioned.

Great but you didn't get Twilight's eye right. XD

GuruGrendo In reply to ElysaFyre [2012-03-27 18:34:55 +0000 UTC]

The gide does not focus on the eye shape , but on the eyelash shape.

ooh i'm so glad i found this. i'm drawing all the mane 6 ponies, and i might vector them, and this is much easier than searching up pics of them and using the color picker. xD

Only Eyelash shape.

Very nice work, dude. This is a nice format for color guides and hope to see more soon. It's compact, but gives you all the information you need without a reference picture (except the accessories part).

Wow, this should actually prove very useful. Thank you kindly good sir.

BUT

Twilight's eye is incorrect. It's more shaped like an inverted raindrop.
Here's an example .

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

GuruGrendo In reply to Julien12826 [2012-03-03 00:37:35 +0000 UTC]

That's perspective.

All the eyes are from a stock like frontal view.

I focused more on the eyelahes.

Julien12826 In reply to GuruGrendo [2012-03-03 02:09:03 +0000 UTC]

Frontal eh? Here .

I'm a Twilight-Is-Best-Pony guy, surely I at least know how her eyes look.

And it's frontal enough.

ArtStude3n2 [2012-03-02 20:40:53 +0000 UTC]

Wow
Those are some real nice colors.
Although, are they to satisfy the "Gamut" parameters?
Sometimes I'll grab a color from a screenshot and get a Gamut warning.
Will I get those if I download the color guid?

GuruGrendo In reply to ArtStude3n2 [2012-03-03 00:56:52 +0000 UTC]

Recommended Course of action, Cap'n?

ArtStude3n2 In reply to GuruGrendo [2012-03-03 03:28:49 +0000 UTC]

Not sure, Private.
My guess and probable method was to just click the little warning triangle and have it find me the right color.
Then again, sometimes the color did work most/some of the time.

It would be nice to have the RGB or HEX values of each color since I can't pick the colors for the eye gradient in Illustrator and I have to write down the values

Hasbro released colour corrected shows on iTunes.
