Description
I made this because I keep seeing people make the same mistakes over and over with their eyes. This is a .PSD so you can see how the layers are arranged and everything.
As the name implies .PSD is for Photoshop.
Use this how you want.
It would be appreciated, but not necessary, to credit me and or link me to your work that you use this in. The latter is more
preferred if possible.
(I like to see what my work is used in)

i really liked this but um what if ppl don't have photoshop? i mean give ppl a break what they can't afford photoshop? you need to atleat make one for those without it like seriously but again this was well drawn and is a great tortorial for those with photoshop also try listening to music while drawing it'll help you focus more on the drawing just try different methods for this not everybody draws in MLP:FiM style try to respect that this was a great piece of art but just try to respect others styles and you'll make friends ok?

It's great that you're looking out for people who don't have photoshop but you didn't have to be so disrespectful with the last line saying they'll "make friends ok". Don't tell people to respect you if you can't do the same. Roll back on that attitude of yours.

Mate, he has made a tutorial especially for photoshop. Now if this is not your medium you don't have to have a tantrum because he didn't make one especially for you. In a critique you specifically critique the art work which is to say you don't carry on about people who can't obtain the same standard in the same medium.

Torrents dude.... If you perffer paint then you probably aren't going to be drawing anything that needs this file anyway.

I can't afford Photoshop, yet i have it.. he said it was a PSD so that would imply Photoshop only, your critique seems far to upfront

You can't vector in paint. or Gimp. (At least I'm assuming that he's trying to show how to vector the eyes.)
That being said, Photoshop is very expensive and there are free vectoring programs available like Inkscape.
[that don't require using illegal copies/versions of software! @Cknight70]
However, if Grendo11 doesn't want to use anything besides Photoshop like those of us without the means, he doesn't have to. His tutorial is clearly titled "Pony Eye How To -.psd" .PSD is a file format used in Photoshop and most people should already know that if they are doing vectoring.
Clearly someone else needs to make a tutorial of how to do pony eyes correctly, using something besides Photoshop, but you shouldn't count off on his critique because he did not.
(And if you are looking in a vectoring club for how to draw or paint pony eyes - then you are looking in the wrong place entirely - Although, you could probably use the picture above as a decent guide.)

No. It is not possible.
They are still raster images.
Here is a link to a tutorial that can explain much better than I can.

Sorry it is not. Did you even look at the video?
The "home" page of the mlp-vector club even has this information.
"What is a vector?
A vector is a type of digital image built from shapes instead of pixels, which can be scaled indefinitely and modified without loss of quality."
"How can vector formats be used?
Only a few programs can create vectors!
Examples of proper vector programs are Inkscape (free, most recommended), Illustrator and Photoshop, while programs which CANNOT make vectors are, for example, GIMP and Paint.NET."

I appreciate this. and i thank you for the psd. i been gathering templates for me to make myself art and this fixes the issue with the eyes. for those without Photoshop, try downloading this preview image and ghosting it over or having it around your eye that your making, (or use some sort of converter if there is another format you need it as) i think he/she did good. there's no other way (for all i know) to give people a template correctly positioned with layers to help them other then using Photoshop's psd, or this preview image.
I would have submitted this as a "Critique" but it has been removed.

Also, perhaps you should make a separate version that:
1. Isn't 50 MB (Yes, there /are/ dialup users out there)
2. Isn't in the PSD format. Not everybody is able to afford industry-leading graphics design/editing software even if they happen to YAR HAR FIDDLY DEE!

If it's meant for Photoshop, then make one for Inkscape.

I've got no interest in using Inkscape. You can make on if you wish though.

For the people who don't know, you can open psd files in Artweaver and Gimp. Those are both free editing / drawing programs.
(Artweaver is like (the not free program) Corel Painter)
(Gimp is more like Photoshop)
I hope you guys find this information usefull

There is of course also that the lower eyelashes indicate level of femininity. RD and AJ don't have the lower lashes, Rarity has four and the other mane 6 each have three.

Why is layer 4 above layer 5. If this were animated, there might be a moment where the pupil would overlap the cheek.

You should decrease resolution. Filesize will be smaller and - because it's vector - everyone can resize it to any resolution.

If you put a coloured (Pink in this case) background it'd be easier to see! Just saying..

The file is already 55MB, lol.
Adding a different background would be too troublesome right now, I'm in the middle of streaming.
