I was wondeing...why do you have some sound effects in kanji? Was this sold in Japan as well?

the artist for the book, Ryo, is japanese (but he lives over here in america). He decided that he wanted to use kanji for sound effects to make it more authentic. I don't know what half of them say, but hey, they look pretty cool!! ^_^

I just have to say that I absolutely love this series, and that's rare for me to say only after one volume. I'm very glad to hear that the series will continue in one way or another... I was worried for a while 
I'm also pretty taken with the art, especially with the characters.
