Description
these are the two newest additions to my collection. two polyphemus moths, a male (on the left) and a female (on the right)in person they have stunning, vibrant pink stripes on their wings, they are absolutely beautiful moths.
the female is about 5.5 inches across (her wings arent fully spread) and the male is a little under that. they are the biggest moths i have in my collection right now ^_^
i also found a cecropia moth but shes a little bit smashed up. e_e;
anywhoo. i really like this photo XD <3

I love these moths so much! When I was kid I found a sluggish one at school one day and smuggled it home in my lunchbox so that I could observe it before it died. Morbid I suppose, but it was so lovely, I couldn't resist! This is a really nice photo of the two sexes together.

Wow one of these were dragged in by my cat. We saved it and put it outside. but we had no I dea what kind of moth it was. They really are pretty xD I always love the look of a moths antannae You did an awesome job on this photo it rules xD

the paper is nice ^^ makes it look rustic and whimsical where i live they have a really nice moth that is a pale green and its wings have lime green on the outside its as big as my hand with wings folded
