ok, first thing I need to say is OUCH! I did this practically straight through and no brakes, and my tablet hand isnt used to the strain, but I dont think my bruises will last long (yes, actual bruises!)anyhoo, onto the picture
its stripey dress girl 'hanging' out in surrescape, where she has been for a long long time. with any luck though, she might get a visitor sometime soon
also, if you are interested, it was benny, kenny and lenny that planted the tree, though there was a minor emergency when lenny tried to eat one of the seeds, but they are all fine now

Your best SDG concept/sketch I've seen (and can think of) so far. You should keep to this sort of style and detail for a while, I don't thinks the sketchy stuff looks so good... :/

Hmm... Perhaps the only thing that lets it down is the grass... I'm not sure... Perhaps if the glass blades further back where darker? Just to add a little depth? Just a suggestion... Iono ^-^

What was the diff. between surrescape and viviscape again? And how do you color pics like that?

lets see now, I have the lines on the top layers, base colours on the bottom, and in the middle for the shadows I grab a black colour with an opacity of about 20-ish?

actually the crucifix-ness was an unplanned side-effect, i havent decided yet if I like the symbolic nature of it... with regards the story there are definate similarities with the easter story (again, unplanned, but thats story writing for you) but the purposes of it all is slightly different in the important places

thanks, I was tempted to make it very dark and moody, but firstly thats not what surrescape is like, and I prefer the idea that its when things are calm we should be suspiscious of whats going on... at least in this part of the story
