“And now, class, if you’ll go back to your seats, I think it’s time to put your teacher back together.” He and Skye lifted the top half of the box and placed it on Miss Luna’s legs, then quickly pulled the blades out.

Skye removed the front and leg shackles together, and the students applauded as their teacher stood up, back together again. Billy cried out- “Wait! It’s like the outline on the box!”

Miss Luna looked down, startled, for she was now wearing a shirt and jean jacket instead of her blouse.”How-?”

The Magician smiled, “Well, it is getting late, and we all know how chilly it can get in San Francisco! Everyone, a big hand for your teacher, Miss Luna!”

As the teacher bowed, and her students clapped and cheered, Hitomi brought out a printout of the class picture she’d taken, resting on top of the teacher’s neatly folded blouse. The Magician signed it, and handed it to his volunteer, as she stared in amazement. “Sorry, Billy- I can see now how you didn’t realize…”

The Magician interrupted, “You and your class have been wonderful- I hope they enjoyed themselves as much as I did.” He leaned in close and said, more softly, “And under the picture is a ticket to my next exclusive event, just in case you want to see some magic outside of the box.”

Miss Luna looked thoughtful. “Why thank you. You know, I very much think I might!”
