“Here, go ahead and walk across the stage for a better look,” said the Magician. “But please be polite to your teacher. No touching! Including you, Billy!” The students turned, mesmerized, as their teacher squealed- the sound plainly coming from the top half of the box. Billy yanked his hand away from her knee, half a dozen feet away. “I’m sorry! I didn’t think they were real!” He cried.

From the upper half, the teacher’s voice said, “Well, they are!”

As the students gathered, the Magician said, “It occurs to me, Miss Luna may not even realize the full extent of her situation. Hitomi?”

“On it, boss. Smile everyone!” The assistant watching from the wings took a few pictures on her smart phone.
