Skye set the empty box to the side of the stage, then, from somewhere inside it, pulled out a square-shaped metal tube. "You'll notice the holes in the side of the red tube Laurel's standing in. It turns out they're the same size as the blade I'm holding now." She walked to the table where Laurel was standing in the tube. "Just duck down, if you would, Lu?"The blonde obliged, sticking her hand out the top as she did.
"So, before we put the tube in the square. Now, we're going to put the square in the tube!" The skinny performer rammed the blade through the holes quickly, and Laurel's arm dropped down inside the tube.
Skye turned the tube so the Magician could see right down the metal blade running completely through it. "Hey, Laurel, show him you're still there!"
Two hands poked through holes in opposite sides of the metal blade tube, fingers wiggling. The Magician applauded, "Very nice."
Skye skipped over to the blue box, and slid it over the red tube, then pulled both the tube and the metal insert out, leaving Laurel peeking out through the hole in the front of the box, as she put the tubes to the side of the stage. "Thank you, Skye, that was rather uncomfortable."
"Oh, we're not done yet, Lu..." Skye said, walking back towards her assistant. "I've still got one more blade..."
