The only people with the power to push him off the show are the producers of the show. That's their decision. He's entitled to speak his mind but he's not entitled to have a TV show. If the producers decide they don't want someone on their show, that's their right.

Haha, it's not popular if people don't want to watch it. If people do want to watch it, it makes money and stays on the air. The only reason a show would end or a person would get fired from a show would be because it's not making money. A network isn't going to throw money away because some people complained on Twitter.

No they weren't. They were willing to fire the guy if it mean their bottom line was in danger. If people stop watching the show or sponsors stop wanting to sponsor it, that affects the network's bottom line. And that's the end of the story. People can complain all they want and they can even "demand" a person gets fired. That's their constitutional right. And that's my whole point. If you don't want to deal with blowback, don't say things in public. If you can't handle hearing people's responses to your opinions, then either don't voice those opinions on a public platform, or get over it.

Just looked him up. He likened homosexuality to bestiality and likened gay people to drunks and terrorists in a GQ article and was then suspended from some TV show about ducks. I think that's a fair decision. When someone's in the public eye and make comments that could influence hate crime, the network and producers need to show that those kind of attitudes are not acceptable. If he'd have said that he sided with Al-Qaida and was happy that all those people died in the WTC, would you still think he shouldn't have been suspended?
