Melkor/Mairon Greek Mythology AU. I could see Melkor being a fusion God between Erebus - God of Darkness and Nyx - Goddess of Night. A bit more emphasis on Nyx though since she was feared so much even Zeus wouldn't raise a finger to her. Mairon would be easy to peg into Greek mythos; he'd be a worshiper of Hephaestus, the God of Blacksmiths, craftsmen, Artisans, etc. And since every Greek abduction tale ever seems to start with someone going to bathe in a spring.... yeeeeah.
I wanna just draw a bunch of random Greek AU angbang bullshit. So expect it. I'm tired of thinking and plotting and writing and wanna free my mind for a while to do pretty nonsensical art that has no meaning beyond me having fun with Tolkien's characters in a Greek inspired way. I've wanted to do it for a very long time.
Now do I do the Minotaur or Hades and Persephone next? Or something else? Decisions. Decisions...Oh, and eek! A penis! D8>

You really captured the Greek Mythology theme/feel here and what's even more awesome is that you also added in you own touch perfectly, making it look even more Beautiful ..also Melkors body look fantastic, like a Greek statue hotness indeed <3

Very interesting AU. I am Greek and I am specialist on our mythology and ancient greek drama, so if you need any help you can just ask me anytime.
As a matter of fact Tolkien was openly inspired by ancient greek gods for the Valars and some Maiars. For example Yavanna is clearly Demeter, Aule, Hephestus, Ulmo Posidon (just much nicer), Nessa Artemis (you must know her as Diana) and so on ^^
