Personality: Matt is very rash, hardheaded, hates to be wrong and is fearless. Because of his personality, Matt is not one to back down from a fight. He always speaks his mind, stands up against anyone in his way (human or mutant), and easily coerces the timid Clyde into seeing things his way.

Biography: Matt has been Clyde’s best friend since they were born. Only being four days older than Clyde, both his mother and Clyde’s mother were best friends in college and wanted their children to have the same type of friendship. Like Clyde, Matt has been the subject of bullying due to hanging around Clyde and sharing the same hobbies as him. The only difference between the two is that Matt would stand up for himself and for Clyde when they were being bullied, although it did not always make the situation better. Matt also has an intense dislike for crime and criminals, and he will go to any length to ensure that the crime rate decreases, even if that means taking matters into his own hands, often landing him into sticky situations.

Likes: Video gaming, computers, MP3 players, cars, trying to fix or customize gadgets, comic books, superheroes, movies, collectible trading card games, collecting action figures, hanging out with Clyde and Mike

Dislikes: Jax, criminals, city crime, bullies, Kevin Pivot, reading, studying, and homework

Family: Over the course of the story, Matt’s parents are never heard of or seen, although he does mention them from time to time. He has made clear that he does have a rich uncle who sends him a lot of money each month.
