As Starlight Glimmer resigned from being Mayor of the small town, Double Diamond soon took her place ass the new Mayor. Double Diamond was seen as a respectful leader and someone who wants someone's creativity be shown at it's highest. As the mayor of the small town, he of course had to go on meetings to keep up with other mayor's and report his findings on friendship and creativity with the Princess of Friendship, Twilight Sparkle. Double Diamond soon had to spend a lot of time with the Princess to learn more about friendship, although the two spent a lot of time together, He soon became close to all her friends and learned new friendship and was happy to bring back what he learned to his small town.

Double Diamond soon realized that he was spending more time in ponville than his own town. He soon realized why. All this time he spent with the princess, made him realize something, that something was more than friendship, it was love. By this realization he told his friends back home and they supported him. He did not know how Twilight felt about him, but every bone his body knew that he was in love.

Twilight saw Double Diamond as a good friend. Of course she had her share of having a little more than friendship, a "crush" with a specific pony who was in her Sister in Law's guard. Although that feeling did fade away, Twilight was happy with her friendships with ponies and felt like she, The princess of friendship did not need any love. But, that small feeling she had with that one stallion, soon came again by surprise. She didn't mean to fall in love once more. She denied every little feeling she had for Double Diamond. The two spent so much time together that she didn't realize herself and her feelings.

There was a day that Double Diamond came to visit Twilight to report his findings on friendship. The two knew their feelings, yet neither one knew about the other. It was awkward as hell. Soon night came, and it was time for Double Diamond to leave. Once they said their goodbye's, Twilight felt, empty, alone, and started to get anxious. As the doors shut and Double Diamond left, Twilight held herself turning her back to the door. She felt alone. She didn't realize, but she soon shed a tear and noticed herself crying. She cried even more. She accepted herself, she accepted her feelings. She was in Love with Double Diamond.

She decided to go after him. She was hoping he wasn't too far away from the castle, It began to snow. It was cold, she kept frantically looking for him, then she found him. She found him. She found the one that made her feel something more powerful than all the magic she could ever have, more powerful than a simple friendship. She yelled out to him, he heard. He ran to her and as the cold was getting to her, she only wanted to let him know how she felt about him. He listened and then replied to her

"I loved you ever since we started spending all this time together. I'm sorry I didn't realize it until now. I'm sorry for any pain that I've caused you."

Twilight smiled, she cried with joy. She embraced Double Diamond and he held her back. The two knew their feelings and were happy.Twilight started to walk Double Diamond back to the train station, they didn't hold hands, they were both on a neutral level of respect and decided to take things slow and get to know each other more personally before anything becomes official.

They came to the Train Station, Double Diamond about to say goodbye as Twilight looked a little sad. He lifted her chin and told her to smile.

"I'll be back. Don't worry."

They both smiled. Double Diamond soon entered the station and Twilight turned around and started walking.

Soon, She felt someone behind her, He gave her a behind hug, she saw the white hair and knew who it was, She felt his hand on her fave, and he embraced her in a kiss. Twilight was shocked as fuck. And that, was the beginning of something no one expected.

I'll explore their relationship later. Double Diamond does not understand the meaning of slow you dumb why you kiss her so soon ANYWAYS, it took a few years until the two married, and then Little snow was born like, right after. I guess then they didn't take things slow

I love the two, I hope you enjoy this work, it took me two days and I decided to do something a little different with the lineart and practice my shading as well. 25 layers in total I believe. I still need to work on that LOL
