This time it's filly snow, since I know how much you guys love her~

When Snowlight was a filly, he mother would rarely let her out, only because she hasn't had any proper training flying yet. Snowlight spent most of her time at the castle just wondering what to do. Soon enough her father decided to take her out and taught her how to snowboard before she could even fly. Twilight loves he daughter, she only kept her in for her own safety. Pinkie Pie was the one who visited the most out of all the mane 6. Fluttershy did regular visits as well. RainbowDash, Rarity and Applejack had somewhat busier lives. Rainbow Dash as head of the Wonderbolts, Rarity moving from canterlot to ponyville as well as having Sapphire attend school. And AppleJack having to take Sweet Apple to the doctor regularly because of how small she is, and making sure that everything is okay.

Once Fluttershy asked Twilight why doesn't snowlight fly yet, Twilight said "I'm too afraid her wings might be too frail or break easily. I don't know anyone on my family who has wings, or anyone on Double Diamond's side either. We both expected a earth pony or unicorn, but she ended up being a pegasus." Twilight then discussed to Fluttershy that SnowLight had a genetic mutation from when Twilight became and alicorn, Snowlight inherited Twilight's gene's of course and got a gene that would cause her to have wings. Soon Fluttershy decides to take Snowlight under her wing (With Twilight's supervision) and teach her how to fly. If anything, it sure was better than the way Rainbow Dash taught Twilight when she first got wings.

Eventually, Snowlight knew how to fly, and since then she felt more independant, but that only means she was able to do more daring stuff now, like incorperate her flying in her snowboarding. Or... eventually join the X-Ponies in the X-games.
