Description i made an AU where Matt get's brainwashed by Haggar into believing Shiro murdered his family, and so he joins the Galra Empire as a fleet commander in hopes of getting revenge on Shiro, here's some info about the AU:

-Haggar eventually came across the footage of Shiro pretending to be a blood thirsty brute in order to keep Matt out of the arena

-Haggar learned that Matt and Shiro were considerably close friends, so she had an idea. She had Matt sent in and conducted several physiological experiments on him, including physical and mental torture, wiping his mind and planting false memories of Shiro brutally attacking and killing his family. Matt was conditioned into the Galran mindset, that Zarkon deserved to be the ruler of the known Universe.

-Matt becomes a soldier for the Galra. What he lacks in physical strength, he makes up for in tactical thinking and planning. He’s very smart and cunning, like his sibling. After he has shown his loyalty and excellence in carrying out orders, he climbs in ranks until he becomes a fleet commander, like Sendak.

-Matt’s anger and mental conditioning fuels his loyalty and devotion to the Galra empire, but his true motive the thirst for revenge. And he knows exactly how he’s going to get that once he gets the chance.

-Matt is actually really morally skewed thanks to what Haggar did to him. He’s willing to sacrifice anything to get what he wants. He has nothing to lose. He would even sacrifice his own men if he needed to. Like Zarkon, he now thinks weakness is a plague. He has no room for mercy. He has no room for compassion.

-i’m not sure how Matt would come across the Voltron paladins, but if he was ever given the chance, he’d force Shiro to watch his teammates die. of course, after capturing the lions. Matt would want them to first feel defeat and loss before, well, y’know.

-Matt wouldn’t recognize Pidge. He would refuse to believe they were actually his sibling. He’d be furious at Pidge for claiming to be so. Most likely, he’d lash out.

-Though, Pidge might be the only person who would actually be able to convince Matt that maybe everything he’s been led to believe isn’t so true.

Huh, this is actually an interesting AU. I don't know why, but I kinda like AUs where characters who are normally good are evil. It really adds to character development and interesting scenarios.
