Sorry... I know this things probaly been up for agest but since It's a tut.I thought I'd ask. You say when you type 'on(' on a bunch of commands pop up... What if it doesn't?

I haven't used Flash in ages and don't even have it on this computer, but here some things you could try:

* Press backspace and type '(' again
* Do you have anything typed before that? There might be an open quotation mark or bracket

There also have been quite a few versions of Flash out since this was written, so they may have made some changes to the way their auto-complete works.

umm...funny thing i noticed at the beggining of your tut....when i make the head go in any direction it will keep going forever...i made it go to the right for one minute and it took about one minute to get back....kinda funny...

I didn't bother putting movement restrictions on it, so the head just keeps moving x distance away, so obviously it will have to move x distance to get back!

Very clear and easy to understand.

The hit area for the continue button is not big enough!

It'd probably be better to setup a key listener then you could just use the onKeyDown event with that listener to control the mc.

I know, but that's more complicated >_> and harder for me to explain.

I was gunna write a 2nd part explaning the keylistener.

*Cracks whip*
Get on it then!

It's also alot better because it doesn't treat it as a button and the user's cursor doesn't change when they roll over the symbol.

Done
No need for a keylistener.. hahaha.

You don't need to use one but infact it's more CPU efficent as you don't have an OEF running all the time testing if tests only when a key is down there's an OEF running then just kill it once the key is up.
