because I get this question a gazillion times ;__;I to be honest dislike photoshop's brushes.
going to try out opencanvas or sai when I open my new tablet (will start using it when I move in with chuchu this autum)

Hey, just so you know you can fix the smoothing on the "airbrush pen opacity" brush really easily in the brush panel, it should be under "brush tip shape" > "spacing". Just set the spacing to zero and it will paint smoothly no matter what size you make the brush.
That's an interesting idea to use the soft brush to ink with, it has a nice effect in your work.

you are master with it XD photo shop is very complicated for me lol i just wanna ask, how to get such a "smoothing" in photoshop, i mean in SAI we can use Smoothing, but in Photoshop, we can...could you explain to me please?? thanks <3

Anyways, sank-yuuu for posting! I have Paint Shop Pro... 9? it's a little different, but it's get the same features. Maybe I'll be a stunning artist like you some day?

lol sorry for the spelling xD I didn't notice it before recently and have been to lazy to correct it OTL
I started off with paint shop pro looong ago too c:
I hated it xD and still do. it worked for me back then but whenever I try to use it now I feel the need to flip my screen over.
and I'm sure you will c:

I don't know where to find anything else. Paint shop pro is all I have, other than Corel Painter Essentials 4 (which makes me want to flip my WHOLE laptop over) but it does the job, I guess.

personally I kinda dislike photoshop burshes too,, but somehow I kinda have more freedom with them
compare to Sai we have to keep stroking to get the right blend,,
but I guess I need more pact ices with Sai :l
but I guess we both use the same brushes in photoshop, thats good to know :LL
