I promised a PaintToolSAI walkthrough (not really a tutorial), so here's one! I figure it's a lot to read, so I'm splitting it into parts. Part II and III is in the works.So, here I've mapped out the lights and darks, and I'll be painting over this layer in the next section.

Daaang you really have a way with sai. I never considered using the textured brush,, usually people tend to use the smooth and shiny one. xD;

you know I'd always kind of hoped you'd do something like this!
Very helpful, considering I've been trying to learn how to do more "painty" stuff in SAI now that I have it, this'll be a good thing to look at for some ideas/inspiration and general know-how.
