After Akzeriuth, Luke gets a complete character overhaul...And Luke preaches about change.
And Tear gives him a knife.
A KNIFE.
Smart move, Tear.
...What did you expect? That he'd cut his hair? XP
I only used quotes from the English game cut-scene. I don't really think these are spoilers. 8|
I love drawing blood splatter. In fact, I drew so much that I felt the need to tone it down a little, so there's a lot less blood there than I originally drew. @_@;;;
I was going to color this for Yumble, but then I thought the monochrome goes pretty well with Luke's emo. o_o;;;
Anyway, Tales of the Abyss parody of when Luke cuts his hair... =w=b All I have to say is: *GASP!* It's not a Jade-related comic!!! Aren't you proud? 8D (Probably not. XD)

Okay, I will admit that I got slightly edgey when Tear handed Luke her knife... but then I was like, "He's the main character, so they obviously won't kill him off, right?"
And then I was like, "But wait- Luke has his sword, so why did he ask Tear for her blade? He's smart enough to know that Tear isn't stupid enough to give it to him... or is he planning on making her feel guilty for letting him borrow her knife and kill himself with it?"
And then my brain started going over-load, but luckily Luke had just planned on cutting off his hair...
But gah, this scene still gives me so much feels...

Thank you for this! I hated when everyone else turned on Luke and blamed him for everything and just expected him to suck it up. I hope Tear is eternally traumatized because of this!

Well, I must admit I wondered too why the heck after all that happened she would give him a knife. Eventhough if he had wanted to commit suicide, he had already a sword. I hadn't thought about that possibility due to the fact Guy chose to stay with Luke.

I was thinking after heaven and hell seemed to have dropped on him that day, Luke or any other person who would get in those situations would think of doing suicide like this.
I'm just glad he decided to live on, change, and just cut his hair. XD
I do feel bad for Luke though. Tear should've thought about it before giving him the knife but at least it didn't end badly in reality.
