It's FINISHED!!!! :0Thankies to all those who commented on the WIP to keep me going. xD I keep spotting little things that I want to change but no one's going to notice them anyway right?! The swords were especially annoying to draw (except Delita's because it doesn't have straight lines). Straight lines in painty-ness and tablet is just ...ugh. I wanted to make the wizard all glowy and stuff, but I was having enough issues with the lighting as it is. @_@;
Ramza, Delita, and Algus from Final Fantasy Tactics, along with random knight, archer, and wizard. The Slums of Dorter was the first battle I got stuck in. xD

Good shit mate, I love it when FFT isΒ proposed in a active combat manner. Really gives voice to the struggles and suspense of the events occurring in-game. Or I'm over thinking it; and it really is just a whole bunch of chibis moonwalkingΒ into combat.

how i hated that part, since i died 3 times in a row trying to get though it then i got an idea, i should look online to see what you have to do to get a summoner, i found out how to get the job, unlocked a few summons when back....i cried tears of joy when i final won!. it was a great moment and i just got the game too 8D

One of the scenes I've really wanted to see is the last time you face off against Wiegraf in Orbone (Spelling!). The entire game is full of epic material that requires fan art, but there is so few of it and even fewer good pieces!

This is really amazing. You really managed to create the perfect atmosphere of that battle. (One of the most annoying battles I have ever fought in both the ps1 version and the psp version.) I really like how Algus / Argath is posing, it looks like he's both into the battle, but also proclaiming his 'rank' towards his enemies. Kind of a foreshadowing his future that he hopes to make a reality. The style of artwork and painting is also really impressive. Also love how you did the weapons.

Pompi... what kind of tablet did you use? how do i get to learn how to paint/draw like that?... what do you suggest?

I use a Wacom Graphire tablet. But having a tablet doesn't make drawings look any more amazing. I used to draw with a mouse for many years on the computer. Tablets just help your wrist, possibly reducing strain and making it easier to draw. But drawing with a tablet still takes getting used to.
Like any other artist, I suggest a lot of practice. Draw as much as possible and have fun drawing. I highly recommend starting out with traditional mediums, such as watercolors. Play around and try different ways of drawing. Observe your surroundings and draw from life. Observe other artists' work and pick up techniques just from observation. If you keep trying different ways to draw, you can do even better than just drawing and painting the way I do itβyou can pick and choose your own methods and be able to draw and paint in your style and make your own art.
Just draw and keep drawing. If you ever get discouraged, pick yourself up, and keep drawing. Skill doesn't appear instantly. So take your time honing your skills and just... draw.

Yeah... sometimes it seems like I'll never get better, but I just remember pieces that inspire me and always remember that I do it for fun. I've already gotten a wacom tablet just for like you said to reduce wrist train. Thanks for the advice! I'll keep up drawing.

This is amazing, don't worry, you weren't the only one stuck at Dorter. Love the style and portions of the characters, you captured the feelings I felt when arriving at Dorter, the first serious battle with serious enemies.

What's not to love? I especially like the black mage. He's all "You don't know who I am, but I know where you live and I'm gonna get you!" Awesome. The whole thing is expertly done, but I do have a question. Where's that stupid archer with no weapon? I think Generic Enemy #16 is pretty cool guy. eh kills nobody and doesnt afraid of anything.

The archer is behind the mage... camouflaged by the shadows! ...with a fail crossbow. He looks like wood so he might be hard to see.
