Description
After witnessing the originality in the renditions of realistic Pokemon by arvalis and many others, I also tried at that by starting with possibly one of the hardest to render, because of both its humanoid appearance and weird anatomy.

Registeel is actually one of the rare remaining species of primates deriving from Regigigas, a hairless type of gorilla with peculiar skeletal dismorphisms that used to live in the central area of what was considered to be the old South America, that was back then joined to Africa, where the species of Regirock remained.
In this case, the species of Registeel had born with naked, massive arms and most importantly a really weak skin, if compared to its cousins' ones. This skin was also accompanied by extremely hard bones, and that was reason why most of these powerful apes usually had pink-ish or red-ish scars on chest and knuckles, creating them by hurting their own delicate skin while leaving bones unharmed (if not intact) during fights or even just by punching their own chests with brutal force.
The skin also appears to be a lot shinier, because of the excessive sweating caused by the heated caves where this species settles, near volcanoes' mouths, where each of them sleeps while covered by layers of basaltic rocks, usually sitting with their head bent down, in order to avoid unnecessary battles.
It looks like this species also falls into lethargic sleeps that endure prolonged periods of time, during which its body grows while sustaining the pressure of the rocks whose layers cover him. This even led to the legend of his body being entirely made of an unbreakable metal, somebody even referring to its body as made of an unknown alien alloy.
Even though the dark skin of a Registeel is weak, the muscles under the shiny silver fur are exactly the opposite, providing superhuman strength and durability.
Covering everything apart from arms and part of the torso, along with face and part of the forehead, the fur of Registeel is usually covered in shiny powders, therefore giving it the appearance of being made of a metallic alloy.
