Dawn of Sorrow? I love that game a lot, but I dislike the style of artwork. Like, the facial graphics and stuff. It's so... banal.
But Aria of Sorrow is AMAZING. The gameplay is perfect, and so is the art. And I love the music (although Dawn had amazing music and gameplay, too).

I LOVE BOTH GAMES <33333333333333333
I gots Dawn of Sorrow cuz of the first game, of coarse. I DIDN'T GET ENOUGH D8
I love the ARtwork and basically everything about Dawn of Sorrow. SOMA LOOKS SO CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE <333333333333333333
Both games are all around amazing. <33333333333333333
Except for the fact that I bought my DoS game off of ebay and it was all yellow and on my first game, the file got corrupted and I had to start over >8(
Oh well, kind of my fault for trusting stupid ebay people. XDD;
ANYWAYS. AMAZING GAMES OF AWESOME <33333333333333333

Ha ha, I think Aria and Dawn of Sorrow are my two favorite Castlevania games... Although Order of Ecclesia and Symphony of the Night are really, really good.
But you like the artwork for Dawn of Sorrow? I guess it just doesn't suit my tastes... I really like Ayami Kojima's work a lot (the artist of Aria of Sorrow), and the newer style is so goofy or something. Although goofy can be really good sometimes. And it's not like Dawn of Sorrow has bad artwork, I just don't really care for it.
But that's sad about your game file being corrupted... I think that happened to one of my old Pokemon games once. Oh well...

That's awesome!
Sotn is probably my very favorite.
I know that the artwork of DoS isn't as UBERLY AMAZINGLY UNIQUE as AoS and other Castlevania games, but I still like it, all cuz of my love of cute things.
It's okay now, I'm way further now and I still love it. ^.^
I just missed getting a soul that I got in my other file... I should go back and get it... It's awesome....

Yeah, Symphony of the Night is so, like... classic. Everyone knows of it (well, everyone who knows about Castlevania). It's a good game.
And cute things are pretty cool, ha ha.
Which soul? When I started Aria of Sorrow, my save file disappeared somehow (I wasn't very far), but when I started over I got the soul of the first boss (that giant skeleton with no legs). So I'm sort of glad I had to start over, because otherwise I wouldn't have it. Also, there are those electric dolls in Aria of Sorrow that I spent FOREVER killing trying to get their soul... Geez. Ha ha. THOSE GAMES ARE SO FUN.
Soma is by far my favorite Castlevania character... Which reminds me, do you have a 360? I don't, but I want to play that Harmony of Despair game so bad.

Yeah. I actually took me a long time to finally get SoTN, and I had been a Castlevania fan for a while (Lament of Innocence was the first game I played, I bought it when it came out).
I finally bought SoTN like.. last year.
I think it was the soul of some form of archer. Maybe skelly archer. You can charge up the arrow and shoot it straight for more damage I think? It was a cool move.
Oh man, I remember spending FOREVER on lots of enemies in AoS, trying to get their souls. XD Lightning Doll surprisingly didn't give me as much trouble as I expected. XD I got lucky.
SO FUN.
Soma is awesome. He's like, super cute and super badazz at the same time. XD So great! <333
I don't have a 360 >: I'M SUPER DUPER HOPING that the game will come out for PSN!! >.<
I hate how they did this to us. 'We will see if it sells on 360 first before deciding to put it onto PSN!'. BLUUUH. Not all the Castlevania fans WHO WANT IT REALLY BAD even have 360s! hgoiehgpehgoehge *FLIES INTO A WALL*

Ha ha, yeah. I bought SotN for the PS1 (for, like, $50 online a long time ago), and then my friend got it for free on his PSP... Oh well. I love that game so much. I think that was the first Castlevania I ever played...
I wanted to play Lament of Innocence, but the 3-D aspect of it sort of turns me off... I like the pixel games.
Yeah, Soma's character design is, like... perfect. I wish they kept his fluffy collar thing in Dawn of Sorrow, but they changed it to just some bland collar (although I do like his outfit in that game, too).
I don't have a 360 OR a PS3. So... I just have a Wii, ha ha. My friends all have 360s, so maybe I'll just convince to buy it so I can play it at their houses or whatever.
But it would make more sense if it was for the PS3... I mean, SotN, Lament of Innocence, and... something else... are all for Sony-type systems. So it makes no sense that they're making a new one for the Xbox... Oh well. I guess Curse of Darkness was popular or something...

SOTN IS LOOOVE <3333333333
Lament of Innocence wasn't an amazing game BUT I KEEP WANTING TO PLAY IT SO BAD simply because of the music! <333333333333333333333333333333333333333333
Soma is wonderfulness and adorable <3333333
You need to so totally convince your friends to buy it so you can play!
I SEE YOUR POINT ENTIRELY. It's so dumb. They better release it on PSN or me gonna be soooooooooo writing an angry troll-like letter. SotN, Lament of Innocence, Curse of Darkness, and the new Castlevania Lords of Shadow are all for Playstation systems. It ENTIRELY MAKES NO SENSE that they go 'Let's just release this on X-box 360 and see how it does BEFORE deciding to MAKE SENSE and release it on the Playstation like EVERY OTHER CASTLEVANIA game we have made 8D~~~~~~~
UUUUUUUUUUUUUGH. I wanna troll them right now. Okay maybe I'll just wait a wee bit longer....

Oh, wow! I really love Aria of Sorrow, so this journal is amazingly awesome to me. *o* It looks great, too; you did a great job! Still debating using it, though, because I don't know if it would fit with the theme of my dA.

Ha ha. It's okay. I thiiiiink the whole... Ninja Assassin free journal things is over. Sorry.
But... the skin is still dedicated to you, so that's almost as good, right?

Oh yes, it is. I'll probably just get a membership later on and use it some time. I was afraid that journal skins would just be another gimmick that DA uses to persuade people. Oh well, it's a good one that works

Well, only get a subscription if you reeeeeeeeeally want to... I don't want my journal skin to be the deciding factor.
But I really like having a subscription just because I can use my own journal skins. And it's pretty fun posting polls and using thumbnails, too.

Yeah, and it helps pay the DA staff so I'd be willing to help with that.

Yeah! In Aria of Sorrow they had the artwork of Ayami Kojima and it was amaaaaaazing... I loved the facial graphics in that game because they were pixelated versions of her artwork.
And then freaking Dawn of Sorrow came out and ruined everything. They, like... downgraded the artwork for no reason. I loved that game though, I just couldn't stand the artwork. But... I still like the designs of the characters.

Ugh. Soma IS cool. I think you'd still like Juste more. Juste is more, like... classical and traditional, and Soma is, like, "Whatever. I'm gonna fight demons and save my girlfriend". Plus Soma lives in 2035, and Juste is, like... 1720 or something? I forget.
Buuuut... So far, Aria of Sorrow has very similar gameplay to Harmony of Dissonance.
