Description
Someone requested I do a tutorial after I posted my completed scars for Nate, so here it is!Sorry if it reads a bit dry. I'm a technical writer, so I can't help but to slip into that mode of writing whenever I do things like this.Β
I hope it helps!

A big thank you to who loaned me their spare (broken) thigh part for this tutorial.

This is so helpful! I don't currently have a BJD but I am venturing into the world of doll customizing and this is such a simple technique that yields incredibly detailed looking results!

The same way you'd remove a faceup: brush cleaner. At least, it's always dissolved leftover glue from eyewells (I use the same tacky glue to install eyelashes) whenever I clean a faceup off. You could also peel the glue part off and use the brush cleaner to get the pastels/what's left of the glue.

Can any type of brush cleaner do?
Or do we have to be careful about the ingredients in them?

I've been looking on how to make scars. Never done it before, so I was a bit nervous. Now, I don't have to be as nervous! Thank you for the tutorial!
