Description
Blaaaghhh I missed two comics in a month, that's a bad thing. I mean, you know, I was busy. Busy with important stuff that was not a ten-day free trial of World of Warcraft.Anyway, here are some more physics/footwear shenanigans that've been around since Ocarina of Time. Make of it what you will!
...Link sure has a weird buoyancy point. It's consistant enough now that it must be a law. Maybe his hat is filled with helium.

lol, as soon as my brother saw that he said, "EXACTLY what I was thinking!" I love you comics, they're so hilarious and so true.

My take on why the iron boots aren't heavy unless they're worn is that they really aren't that heavy at all. Instead, they are enchanted to become heavy when worn, providing stability and sinking when needed but not causing undo encumbrance while not in use. If anyone else said it first, sorry for copying you, but I'm not reading through that many comments.

maybe but it sure is fun to poke fun at the fact that he sinks only when hes wearing the boots.

hahahaha!!!!! i've thought of this too, but only for the Ball and Chain!!! I asked my sister and all she said was...... he has a pack to carry it in which made me even more confused 'cause other items are in the pack, no? so wouldn't he be totally laying on the ground from all that weight???
I guess the Gale Boomerang, like, lifts them up in the air or something inside the pack...
hahaha, love it, Link probably thinks he's really smart there!!!!

"It's really quite simple. The "insert item her" and most hylian apperal have constant anti-gravity generators in them that can only be turned off when worn!"
Every time Link held something up and it floated in the palms of his hands my brother asked why. That was my answer!

zora armor looks kickass in twilight princess, although they mean it when they say its weak against ice and fire. Remember the armored spider from the temple of time? well, they eye beam it shoots is fire as it turns out. lost 15 hearts in one attack. needless to say, i was screaming for fairies and my mom thought i was on drugs...

okay, in a world where you can die several times and come back to life, and princesses are captured by the same person/monster over and over again, let's pick apart how much the boots weigh!

I always explained it that way that Midna is hiding his trappings in some sort of alternative dimension when he's not wearing/using them. Just like she did in the beginning of the game with his sword and shield when he was still a wolf.
But I guess that's just me...

That would only make sense in Twilight, though. What of the other games, where link lacks transdimensional access?

kentriodon In reply to Ragade [2007-11-27 22:06:23 +0000 UTC]
Ah, but how do we know that Navi and and Tatl don't have the same access. And in the rest of the games - well, I suppose it can be comparable to the hammer dimension - or whatever it's called.

okay, just the fact that link could carry all that shit he had with him (CONCEALED not to mention...) is something mankind is not ready to understand...
good job with the comic by the way
