Well Varia had a talk with me...and on the day I spoke with Varia Chaofan came in just to pick up Jiaozhi's homework and she heard the conversation. At that point she started mocking me...Chao said something about you being more enthusiastic than me or something and that's kinda when I went into a protective snap. I'm the only person who has ever made her stand down. No one else has ever talked back to her..ever.

Well, to be honest. It was Chaofan's domineering that made me do that to Varia. And if i intervened, there might have been some consequences

And remember Alex...if you confront Chaofan...do not mention me talking to you even if you think are speaking to Jiaozhi. Chao can be tricky.

It's complicated. I'm still trying to understand it myself right now. I just know it's deep inside her. Once she was pulled into another realm with me and was chosen to fight a horde of demons. Jiaozhi doesn't remember anything of course but I have seen what she can do though. She is a skilled warrior. So she probably would have kicked your ass if you defied her and laughed about it. Perhaps it is a combination of evil and power I sense not just power itself. Just be careful with Chaofan. That is the best course of option. I only take risks with her if they are worth taking. Just keep that in mind
