A year is SHORT~?? I've only been drawing ponies for like 2 or 3 years at the most-
Probably only 1 year and a half with actual effort and I draw them fine ;0
I'm not good at them of course but I can at least draw them without completely making it them so wonky and misshaped aAAA
Humans, anthros and anything that stands on two feet are way too hard for me and I seriously just can't draw them ;;
But I don't mind too much tbh, I've never really gotten into human art and people can't do everything ;v;;

I felt like it took me a few years of hoomans before I felt kinda okay with them x'D  So I think a year is short!  But we all improve at different speeds cx 
I gotcha, I gotcha > v < But ponies don't have fingers or toes!  Most don't wear clothes!  Hoomans have so many things involved, so that might also be why~

Fingers and toes don't phase me tbh, I JUST CAN'T DRAW THINGS STANDING UP

But oh man, I've only started drawing seriously when I was like 11
And I'm 13 now so not that long at all compared to you ;0
I can draw most animals with 4 legs but just not anything with 2 legs rip

Yes, you young child //pets you/ That's crazy!  I don't remember how my art looked at 13, but I drew at a pretty young age, lots of traditional stuff > v <  
Got my first tablet a year and a half ago and that transition was *really* hard and frustrating for me at first x'D  I literally put my tablet away in it's original box for months after I tried to play around with it and I wasn't happy with the outcome of my arts.  But like everything, practice is necessary cx 
Oh that's so interesting xD  Draw a pon standing on two legs!
