Can you please update your theme to gnome 3.8?

I don't use GNOME any more, sorry. You can look at my journals to see why.

It would be great if this theme was gnome 3.6 compatible
Whats different? The "notification bubbles"?

I don't know, I've not used 3.6 because I don't use GNOME Shell any more, KDE4 now.

I installed it, and it works...halfway. The top bar, and the overall 'look' of everything is the theme, but the windows themselves are still in the GtK+ theme I think. Any suggestions?

half-left In reply to StardustLuna [2012-10-24 17:25:30 +0000 UTC]

It's not a GTK3 theme just the shell theme.

StardustLuna In reply to half-left [2012-10-24 21:42:01 +0000 UTC]

So, then how do I make my windows look like the windows in your screenshot? Because for some reason they're still in the gtk format.

half-left In reply to StardustLuna [2012-10-25 04:45:33 +0000 UTC]

It's just the GNOME Shell theme, they're not windows or anything to do with GTK. If you applied the GNOME Shell theme right it should on the version it's for.

Did it happen to anyone else...? I installed this theme and it works perfect. Except, after that, whenever I try to look for an application on my application panel, my computer freezes ...and every time I have to push the off-buton and I find it not-nice

Make sure you're using the right version. It will be updated for 3.4 soon.

I have problem with gdm 3.2. When I tray to replace default gnome-shell theme with Gaia, after that gdm crash and I can't log in. GDM won't appear until I restore default theme. Elementary Luna works just fine gdm, so I think that problem is with Gaia, maybe something is missing.

half-left In reply to malisremac [2012-02-07 21:56:31 +0000 UTC]

As far as I know, the GDM file is not used but only used in the root directory.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

malisremac In reply to half-left [2012-02-07 22:20:44 +0000 UTC]

I found solution, I just copy gdm.css file from default shell theme in your theme (usr/share/gnome-shell/theme) and now GDM works. Now GDM look better than ever.

This looks awesome!!

I have one question. What did you do to port the icons into GNOME? Did you rename them and place them in /usr/share/icons, or did you adjust the properties of specific programs and change their icons individually?

Not sure why, you should be able to just load the gaia-3.2.zip into it.

Best looking gnome shell ever! This is making everything look so appealing on gnome 3.

Is there a matching GTK theme for it?

I always loved the GAIA inspired themes and skins.
