ULTRA is a slick, dark theme for GNOME Shell.Inspired by ULTRA 2 Wallpaper by Alexander-GG
Icons by GuillenDesign
Instructions:
Please avoid a manual install and use the GNOME Tweak Tool, it's much easier.
You can use the gnome-shell theme extension for easier switching of themes.
GNOME Tweak Tool
Make sure you have user-theme-extension installed. Load the GNOME Tweak Tool and go to Shell Extensions and click the "Use Theme Extension" switch. Now go to "Theme" and click the Shell Theme box and locate your theme zip. Now you can select the theme in the dropdown box.

Compatibility: GNOME Shell 3.4
Update - 23rd May 2012
- Theme is now GNOME 3.4 compatible.

hmm problem caused by moving icons from messaging area to status area... disabled extension, status icons were fixed... looks like when moving the icons they are bigger than status icons. but on other your themes I don't have such issue

I fixed it by editing line 311 of gnome-shell.css
from height: 1.86em; to height: 24px;

I see. I did wonder about the height but it's the same as the default theme so.

That's just weird. It could be a bug with GNOME Shell. Might want to disable your extensions and try it.

Just download the GNOME live CD version, its just GNOME 3.

It comes with gnome tweak tool by default, just install gnome-shell-extension-user-theme and follow my instructions on how to use and enable.
