I agree; the Crossbow may be a killer weapon both in design and power, but has too little ammunition to make supreme use with it.

yup, cus most of the enemies in Half Life practially eat ammunition, and if they DO die in one hit, then your weapon will have a low ammo pool.
It just sucks that way.
