AT LAST!! IT IS DONE!! Oh boy, let me tell you all about this one!

So as I said, I’ve been sick for practically the entire month (still kinda am). The only thing I’ve really been working on would be this. When I heard that there was a contest going on, I just HAD to get in on it. I’ve never done stuff like this before, so this is a great experience for me.

While working on this though, I learned of a neat little fact. Apparently, purple was often associated and representative of royalty because back in the day, making that color dye was super expensive. Even the price was steep for someone in royalty. Only the super mega ultra rich could afford it.

But I will say that The 3D effect was rather tedious to do. I knew how to apply it and everything, but I had to tweak a bunch of stuff because I kept winding up with this pixelated effect. It didn’t look too pretty. In the end though, I think it turned out great. I purposefully had the cloak be more out of focus than Zero himself so that your eyes... zero in on him?! Eh, eh?! *coughs awkwardly*

Despite all the tediousness, the sickness, the mistakes, this was a really fun. I actually breezed through the process rather smoothly. I never really got upset or freaked out. I think it was because I didn’t put too many high expectations on myself. I just let loose and had fun with it as I went.

Though, I’d like to give a super big shout out to CrayonsAndCircuses. She helped me a little with creative input, and when I got a little stumped on the 3D for awhile she was huge help. She helped play around with the effect with me in hopes of fixing the pixel problem I had. In the end I figured it out on my own. But I probably wouldn’t have found the solution if it wasn’t for her. Thanks a lot!
