Description An vectorization of an old, nonspecific CRT computer monitor.

I did this, spur of the moment after glancing a few times at some old IBM CRT monitor. Honestly, I think it's really really good.

I may be adding other buttons/lights like contrast, brighness and sharpness in the future.

Please credit all usage, both on and off of deviantArt. If you see it being used off of deviantart, feel free to tell me about it.

Do not use for commercial use or personal gain, unless formally requested (and permission is granted).

The school I go to only has one of those type of monitors left in the tech and society classroom.

My parents have several machines with CRT monitors.

Of course, they also have quite a few LED monitors of varying aspect ratios and resolutions.

This is fantastic!! I don't suppose you have any vector files available for commercial use?

This looks pretty cool. I'm not sure if this is intentional or not, but it looks like a Windows 2000 icon.

Well, most "3D" object iconography for Windows 2000 was isometric, but I see what you mean.  It was unintentional, though.

Thanks for providing this as a resource. I used it to create an old-skool preview of a wallpaper pack that I just created [link] . Most previews use fancy monitors, so I figured this one would make mine stand out

Looks nice; and thank you for giving notice, too! You're one of the few who has.

You're welcome. I think it's always nice to hear when your work has been used by others, and giving notice really is not much effort. Anyway, thanks again for making this image available for use by others.

It's funny how many downloads this has, yet SO FEW COMMENTS. =I

I wonder how many people are actually using it? =L

I downloaded it; was going to use it, then decided not to use it. At least for the moment. If I had used it; it would have been used in the title screen of ZorkMaze (which is one of my pieces for Senior Expo; final show of my game design work in college). Might still use it...just not there. ZorkMaze if you're wondering was a 3D approximation of a maze of twisty turny passages all alike. As common in Zork and Colossal Cave, etc...
