This is the first novella I put together that I solely posted on Amazon. The reason for this is due to the extra work required to get books formatted to work properly on smashwords, which is quite a chore to do.

The seed for this story came from a dream, which is why dreams feature so heavily in this tale. The idea is that someone can be completely different in the dream world - do whatever they wish, be whatever they wish, no matter how dark that may be. But what happens when those dark desires begin to bleed over into the real world?

"Veronica is elated to become a fiancée of Prince Elbert, though one of her predecessors has gone missing amid wicked rumors.

Soon, she finds herself assailed by strange dreams of a masked man and the dark carnival where he plies his trade.

Strangely drawn to him, she discovers a world of political backstabbing, clown girls, latex slave suits, and dark desires."
