The inspiration for this came from current events, though I was very careful to avoid anything too controversial. This is supposed to be a fantasy novel about people being turned into rubber dolls, after all! No room for anything too outrageous, right?

"As a SERIOUS person, nobody has been able to find a way to treat Hannah’s depression. Desperate to be HAPPY and find her Mistress, she submits herself to an experimental protocol to change herself into a rubber coated DOLL.

As she rediscovers her sexuality with another female DOLL, she struggles to reconcile the various forces that are vying to bring her under their thumb. While being a DOLL may be sublime, deciding how and where she should submit is not so simple.

If she chooses wrong, she might very well become a weapon used to take down all of HAPPY society, including her prospective Mistress.
