Fanart of... Metroidvania/Soulsborne games, I guess?

A larger artwork I picked up again after leaving it in my "current work"-folder for weeks (alongside with tons of other works that have yet to move beyond the sketching-phase).

Thankfully, the most tedious part (= linearting the characters) is done.

It originally started as a silly little sketch in my sketchbook involving the Ashen One, the Little Knight and the Prisoner, gathered around a bonfire and giving each other weird looks. It was all downhill from there

Ultimately, I wanted a gathering of the colorful cast from games in the Metroidvania and Souls-like genre.

You could make arguments like "Dead Cells is not a Metroidvania, why is he in there?" or "Why is character X from Metroidvania Y not in there?" but I just picked the ones I wanted to pick.

But maybe there is enough room for one more?
