I backgrounded
Assignment 1 of 2 for the EBC war plot (and Cicera's first ever assignment! Yay!)
After spending the night 'guarding the Empire scum', Cicera gets off guard duty in the early morning and patrols the halls to stretch her legs.
People often forget that in war, the majority of time isn't spent fighting, so I thought I'd show one of the quiet times

I really like the feeling of perspective you created in this piece, and the light flows so neatly. A really peaceful setting, though, grey monochromatic palette reminds that the war isn't too far.

I had a really good reference photo (which I now can't find >.<). I sketched out the curve of the floor, then used a pencil and ruler for the pillars. The texture is just from the pencil, which I smudged and scanned. Cicera was drawn on a separate sheet and scanned in

I recommend finding a reference photo with interesting perspective, then just draw out the curving ground lines, then get a ruler and add random collumns. That's what I did
