Autopsy: At the bottom of that horrid city, I found it. The final insult upon us...puny creatures, us HUMANS, by the undying horror that is Mantorok! Its form was much like man, indeed from the lower ribs on downward it could be mistaken for a long forgotten human corpse, yet even there the horror fills you from its inhuman, yet all too human, presence. At the upper body...god help me...its forms was like a dark emergence, the body made a portal for an unspeakable horror, all the more monster for being fused to the now corrupted human form! It was as if its half fused form was INTENDED, as if it were some final evolution! Either for the beast or...or...

No, you're totally right with that one. I thought since the other Guardians protected the entrance to En'gha, the Mantorok Guardian would protect the entrance to Mantorok's temple. And the temple of Mantorok has a strong resemblance to Angkor Wat, which features a Shiva statue in the linga place, so I thought that would be suited.
