You know when you don't wanna waste ammo and thus you kill zombies in close combat? Top left is a counter to that, by making zombies occasionally go splat, deal damage by doing so, and afterwards drain a great amount of sanity through the parasite eye. I think ammunition is a important factor in horror games, you should never go into melee, if you can a avoid it, but almost all horror games have those enemy types you kill in close combat so you don't waste ammo. Top left would punish this ammo-saving-behaviour.

Bottom right is just some Mantorok Parastie thingy that devours humans and other tasty things alive. I considered making it the zombie, but then I decided to use middle row left.

Haha, now I like that idea.. would definitely be a tricky one to take down. I found I rarely used some of the guns except for... the rifle in Peter Jacob's chapter, Edward's shotgun and elephant gun, and the rifle on burst mode for Michael Edward's. I usually was sooo stingy on ammo.

Haha, I had some monster ideas I wrote down a looong time ago, but my Parasites definitely took quite a different turn from yours XD They were smaller than a Trapper or so, attached to a host, and could corrupt them over time into a monster of the Ancients, sorta.. mutating them XD; I made monsters mostly designed to give grisly deaths to victims >> I was a weird person XD

Looking at that design for the Parasite, I wonder how that'd work... besides, you know, horrificly painfully. It doesn't seem to have any actual mouths at all... which equals even greater pain for the victim I bet XD (I'm a person who likes watching Dead Space death cutscenes because I like making up gruesome monsters and ways they kill >>; )
