Description
Full view essential. (Please take a good long look for all the smaller details).I am very happy with how this turned out, and i have been waiting a while to upload it, this is the second try i hope everyone likes it. I was playing with the planet textures in photoshop and came up with these after a few hours, then i went on to max for the planets and basic lighting, and finally back to photoshop for for the nebulae and stars etc.

I adore your planets. They are so wonderously detailed. Even Greg Martin thought so!

Your work is just absolutely stunning. I wonder how you get the starfields look so damn colorful.
I hope I get as half as good as you are with these.
Awsome job!

Really amazing, love the detail on the nebula, could you tell me where you got the textures for that planets, or did you create the textures yourself?

Wow!! The blue planet is PERFECT!! Good work on the nebula, too - it turned out very realistic (and that's a last year of astronomy student talking )

i like the idea of 2 planets with differents cultures and civilizations which you can comprove with the extures, and the nebula in the center its awesome, with that varied colours, tipically of you. i love it.
the planets have 2 different colours, 2 amazing colours, that kind of colours you are searching a lot of time in the palette. The flares in the nebula are fantastic too.
The atmospheres are also amazing.

No matter how long ago this art is, I can never stop clicking back here to look at it. I seriously would want a poster of this. This just captures me to the very soul and damn... It makes me realize how much more work I have to do so I can be to even barely get half as great as this. You rock.

Another amazing & inspiring piece by you Hameed
Let me Elaborate :
Starfield & Flare Stars:
The starfield here has excellent variation,
It melds well to bring dimension, it dosnt cloud the view & at the same time gives the image an extra something,
The flare like stars are your classic style,
that is, a mix of excellent light distribution, maticulous detail, beautiful shapes, & excellent colouration.
Your stars & starfields are truly one of the things i look upto,
they always seem perfectly created with intense detail & precise variation,
amazing job as usual Hameed
Planets:
Ah, these planets, VERY impressive indeed, The upper planet has an industrial feel,
looking at the planet gives so many idea's of a terrestrial world,
what is it i think? Colonisations? Industrialism? A planet like Coruscant? An abomonised planet from some unknown disaster? Whatever it be, the detailing & amazing depth of texture really brings it to life, & the atmosphere that it has truly is precise & perfect,
Along with the soft glow from it that melds into the nebulae nicely.
While the top planet seems industrialised or effectively destroyed, the lower planet is almost the opposite with a twist,
like a lushous planet rich with vibrant life, & it has the same creation growing on it as the top one, except it partially covers the planet,
The lighting gives us an ethereal sense, the blues & whites are like mist, truly gives off an intrigueing sense of interest.
The atmosphere is also perfect looking for this aswell, it seems to nicely created & well balanced,
While some people could say the atmosphere cool gradientise out more or tinge to fit the nebulae,
i dont think thats necessary, i think they seem perfectly blending, & there sudden feel seems to meld them inside the nebulae,
truly a pleasing result,
also the concept, it seems like the planets are linked, like this colonised formation, grows & overtakes the planet, & then spreads to another planet, & beings the same pattern once again, & slowly cages the planet in a shell, while keeping it with an atmospere, it takes over the planet,
hehe, probably my mind making stories but whatever your thought was behind it, it truly captivates me,
i cant help but wonder, what is the story of these planets? Maybe the nebulae has something to do with there strange formations? Maybe extraterrastrial types impanted a mechanization to fertalise the planet for the living environment?
Also the lower planets land texture is wonderful, the variety & depth to it,
truly these planets you have made here give a sense that there is a story behind them,
unlike just slapping on some random texture on an orb & calling it a planet, you have justified a story,
A concept, they have a backgroun, rich with idea's, like an earth, formations, things that look so otherworldy,
perhaps it is like that with this planet?
perhaps on ground level these formations are even more different than what they seem from the outside?
For all we know these green & landish colours might in fact be like the Jovian skies,
a vareity of strange gasses, & the formations could even be the only solid means of land the planet?
Perhaps the upper planets story is that of a dehydrated past? perhaps the formations are actually dried up sea's!
or maybe clefts from unusual underground movements?
Whatever it be, there definitely is a rich story behind these two interesting planets,
almost linked, they co exist, as the title says, but perhaps they co exist in a way different from one might percieve on first sight?
Also, Something some people may overlook, the cute () little moon governed by the lower large planet,
perhaps it tells a story too? Its surface seems to be engulfed by darkness, crescent lighted from strong light,
perhaps it does not show more of itself, because it truly deflects light from governing its surface?
Perhaps an abominization the two large planets is maticulously woven from the smallest of things, such as a parasite,
such as this small moon, for all we know it could be more a key to the co existence of the two large planets than we know!
Now now, enough of my thoughts unfolding, all i can say is looking at these planets gives me so much insight into so many idea's.
You created them so perfectly, moulded with such a story, looking at them makes stories run in my mind
Nebulae:
The nebulae you say? It partains the immense detail & depth of Hameed style nebulae indeed!
Would be my favourite nebulae if you hadnt made your Majestic Picture (Majestic was such an amazing nebulae man!)
The immense texturing gives perfect depth, & the lighting is phenomonal, I really like staring at your nebulae,
why? well, of course its obvious why really, i mean come on, the layering upon layer of immense detail,
The smooth shapes that at the same time seem so intensely detailed,
its like a playground for the eye & mind, I had a look at the 30% completed 100% resolution resource of Majestic,
& it shows how much detailing & effort you place in such a picture, this picture is another case of your insane detailing,
to the smallest to largest of detailed shapes, there is truly no limit to the depth in this picture,
i applaud you Hameed!
Composition:
I have not seen a composition like this one,
you have done a great job to ensure a completely original composition,
the placement of everything & melding of all,
plus the extensive variation & depth creates an astoundingly amazing composition,
the end result: Co-Existence.
Overall:
Overall this image creates an astounding image of thoughts, idea's, depth & excellent in minds.
The image shows intense use of layering & detail,
Surely this is deserving of all the attention it can get,
i truly applaud you for such a great image, & all the inspiration you give to artists,
keep up your truly intense masterpieces mate!
I dearly hope my comment can justify how awesome i think this picture is But even now, words cannot descibe the sort of amazement such an image invokes!

Great job on the planet textures... but the thing i love the most about this peice is the atmosphere escaping the blue planet and how well that texture stis....
love your work man.. you are one of the reasons why i am a space artist...

Wow; as others have commented, eyepopping.
I think that you have inspired me to finally do the last frame in my series 'Evolution'. At least given me a few ideas as to what approach to take.
Won't be as awe-inspiring as this is, but i need to finish it.
Thx,
