Full view essential. (Please take a good long look for all the smaller details).I am very happy with how this turned out, and i have been waiting a while to upload it, this is the second try i hope everyone likes it. I was playing with the planet textures in photoshop and came up with these after a few hours, then i went on to max for the planets and basic lighting, and finally back to photoshop for for the nebulae and stars etc.

AMAZING... Even better than the one I just commented on... The level of detail is beyond reality. I like how you can see lines on the planets; are those huge cities?!? Also, I see a skull in the nebula between them... Near the top to the left of the top planet. It's the top half of the skull and it's looking down at the blue planet at an angle.

always been admired. also you were recommended by Dyncitis. also you are his favourite artist, so i've come out and check one of yours, and constanty i cannot stop looking at this peice... wow!

the texture on the top planet is absolutely mindblowing, its almost as if the surface is encrypted with some form of hyrogliphic or ancient text. also, the nebulae effects around the planets themselves are absolutely brilliant. they mimic the real thing very closely, and still maintain that high level of artistic merit as well.
scrolling down the image you get into the light heart of the nebula, something that intereacts nicely witht he starscape around it. it flows excellently down past the bottom planet and creates a sense of connection or interlocking, yet still leaves enough detacthment to seem real.
as you get down to the bottom planet thats where things start happening. the heavy lighting effects are drawn in, and create an almost angelic aura around the top of the planet. textures seem very earthy, yet the colour is detatched from what our planet is. well blended and formed i must say. the only thing that really irks me in the entire shot is the large "embossed" area near the bottom right of it. it seems a little bit out of place for my tastes. even so, the rest of it is extremely well created.
aside from that minor irk, this is excellent my friend. you can really see where the 43 hours went.
