SO YEAH~ i'm throwing my hat into the ring for this >:3 i've never made it into an official oct before (miss oc doesn't count for me =3= )
so i figured i'd dust off an old oc of mine and give it a whirl :3 yey

---- CHARACTER INFORMATION ----

Name: Cyrus Rebane (call him cy and you'll get a metal foot in the patoot)
Age: 27.
Gender Identity: Male
Sexuality: Straight as a board
Height: 6'2"
Occupation: computer programmer/ computer hacker
Personality: Cyrus more or less tolerates everyone. in social situations he often keeps to himself and just taps away on his laptop.
given his somewhat standoffishness it can be difficult for others to know weather or not he likes them. (here's a test, does he speak to you in sentences of more that one word? of so, he likes you, if not, tough luck buddy) but for those who can get past his seemingly cold outer shell, he can actualy be a pretty nice person to be around..

History: Cyrus comes from a family of many talents. the Rabanes have been librarians, musicians, carpenters, tailors, grocers, farmers, but Cyrus is the first to be in the computer side of the playing field. Cyrus was born with his legs deformed resulting in them being amputated 3/4th the way down his thighs. he learned to walk when he was 10 when he received his first pair of prosthetic legs. but due to his missing legs, he couldn't really play much as a child so he would sit at home and read. and read. and read. and read. when he entered middle school he became fascinated with computers and science, reviving high marks in his math, science, and computer classes. this led to him becoming surrounded with technology and fascinated with learning. this prompted his parents to give him Elsa and Marvin for his 15th birthday, smart pokemon for a smart kid. from

that that he and his pokemon were inseparable, switching pokemon every few days. Cyrus eventually graduated top of his class and began to look for work, but needed a way to proove his skils as a computer programmer. and thus, after sealing himself in his room with Elsa and Marvin for about 3 days, Cyrus emerged with his new and final pokemon SERV-0 the porygon he built and coded from scratch. soon after this cyrus chose his faction and became a programmer.

when the disaster struck Cyrus was in the cafeteria, enjoying lunch with SRV-0 who was happily zipping around the floor pretending to be a race car. when the explosion hit, Cyrus and SRV-0 prety much just looked at each other and headed for the atrium.

Relationships: Cyrus Knows several people but is currently single (ladies~)

Additional Notes:
BOTH OF HIS LEGS ARE PROSTHETIC!
Because of his legs, he cant really wear normal pants and hates wearing shorts. his solution, pajama pants. he ALWAYS wears pajama pants.
his glasses are mainly for reading. farsighted you know...
his cigarette is his little way of distressing. cause sometimes computers freeze. Cyrus doesn't like when computers freeze...
he tents to end sentences with "eh" mainly when asking a question

Personality: Elsa is a quiet, calm little Kirlia who cares deeply for her trainer. she often acts as the voice of reason for Cyrus, calming him down when his E-cig isn't enough and he gets too worked up. Elsa also tends to act as a mother towards SRV-0 when the two ae together.
Extras:
-she, like Marvin, can fluently speak, however whereas Marvin speaks via telepathy, Elsa can legitimately speak. with her mouthparts
-she was given to Cyrus first with Marvin coming a year later.
-she evolved into kirlia when Cyrus Graduated Middle school
-her favorite color is green (irony~)

- technically speaking, SRV-0 isn't technically a Pokemon, he a robot built by Cyrus. HOWEVER~ all porygon are supposedly man made
- He thinks he's a race car
- SRV-0 LOVES to race around the floor going as fact as he can and is glued to the tv whenever races come on (most likely hystorical footage)
- due to his apparant love of racing, Cyrus repainted him racing colors and gave him "go faster stripes"
- yes those are really called "go faster stripes" Google it.
- although SRV-0 is genderless, he is refereed to as male.
- given his affinity for speed and racing, it's ironic his name is a corruption of the word "Servo" as servos are typically slow motors
- he wears an old pit crew hat (and i do mean old)
- he can speak, albeit very crudely. as Cyrus didn't have a decent voice synthesizer to work with at the time. so he basically sounds like Wall-E

Gender: Male
Species: Elgyem
Nature: Quirky
Ability: Telepathy
Size: 2'

Personality: Marvin is almost as snarky and sarcastic as Cyrus is. and constantly refers to himself as a "super genius" and a "hyper advanced life form"
Extras:
- he's named after Marvin the Matrian
- despite this, he sounds more like Kermit the frog.
- he speaks via telepathy
- although he sees himself as Mr. high and mighty, he's actually the weakest on the team
- although he doesn't have a lot of power to bring to battle, he has brains to spare, often outsmarting opponents rather then subduing them
