Description
so. for the past five or so YEARS ive been working on a fantasy series. short stories, long stories, lore, ect ect. and now i think im finally ready to start sharing it with the world :3

starting things off is a silhouette lineup of the main cast. they'll all be revealed one by one as time goes on, along with their own character sheets, bios, and all that good shit.

OH! and ill post a journal with more info on the series when i have a little more time

Name: Allister Stone

Bio: Allister was born in Erifort and grew up on his father's vineyard just outside the Capitol city of Erin. early on he met Hugh McTaggart and the two would grow up together and become close as brothers. Allister would dream of one day exploring all of Formosa, from the Deserts of Ulana to the jungles of Arbora. this dream would be tragically snuffed out at the age of 18 as Allister came down with an illness called "the yellow plague" which nearly killed him and scarred his lungs forcing him to take a more relaxed and passive approach to life. now Allister lives in Valspire's central most city of Dragon-scar with his cousin Fjurg, writing about adventures he sees before him, rather than the ones he once dreamed of himself

- Allister is left handed
- Allister's eyes turned yellow due to the yellow plague. he does NOT smoke pot
- there is a large scar across his neck from when he fell ill. the plague made his tongue swell so his throat had to be slit so he could breathe
- Allister's parents own a very successful wine company called "Stone Wine Company"
- Allister can play the mandolin
- He wears a red scarf around his neck to cover the scar.

Bio: Hugh is a skilled mage and has been Allister's best friend sense the two were very young, as Hugh's father works for Allister's. when Hugh was 8 years old his father enrolled him in the Erifort Academy of Magic and Magical Study, the largest and most renowned mage school in Formosa. over the years Hugh would become a fairly skilled mage excelling in fire magic and healing, and eventually graduating 3rd in his class. when Allister contracted the Yellow plague Hugh used everything he knew to try and help Allister Recover. Hugh would be away from his studies for almost two months, His girlfriend Zaya bringing him homework and notes from their classes. Now Hugh Travels with Allister as his personal physician, making sure Allister's health is stable.
Trivia:
- Hugh has a very short temper and get irritated and angry fairly easily.
- his adeptness with fire magic, coupled with his short temper earned him the nick name "hot headed Hugh" in school
- His short stature and heavy build run in his family, as his father is also quite short and fat
- Hugh's mother was a Dark elf who tragically died in childbirth

From an early age she was raised to be very prim and proper, well versed in etiquette, and other things commonly associated with nobility. as rose grew older she began to grow increasingly apathetic towards being a noble and would frequently sneak out to walk around the city. one day she quite literally bumped into a young man with a red scarf accompanied by a rather stout half-elf. the man introduced himself as "Allister" and he and rose would spend the next 3 hours talking, and eventually start dating. for almost a year Rose and Allister were together until Allister finally took a knee and asked the ultimate question. the two have been happily married for 3 years

- Rose is ambidextrous and can write forward and backward at the same time
- she has recently begun working with Hugh as a healer. her specialty is animal care. so she's a vet basically
- Her parents were less than impressed to discover Allister wasn't a noble. their opinion changes when they learned his father made their favorite wine.

Jacques was a devoted guardsman and soldier, protecting Count Sinclair from assassination attempts, poisonings, ect ect. probably Jacques most notable feature is the fact that he is a werewolf, having inherited Lycanthropy from his father. he would normally joke about being able to "smell danger" which he attributed to his lycanthropy. When Jacques first met Allister and Hugh he had them arrested under suspicion of kidnapping Rose. after things were cleared up Jacques and Allister became friends, and eventually in-laws

- Jacques in the oldest member of the main cast
- being a werewolf Jacques cant touch silver, as it burns his skin. because of this he rarely takes off his gloves.
- Jacques has full control over his lycanthropic transformations and can turn from werewolf to human at will
- Jacques and Hugh are constantly butting heads. Jacques thinking Hugh is too brash and angry to be a mage, and Hugh thinking Jacques an idiot
- his middle name "Lupine" means wolfish
- Jacques has pronounced canine teeth, a trait commonly found among those with Lycanthropy; while not as pronounced as the teeth of a vampire, they are pronounced enough to notice when he smiles.

Bio: Fjurg was born in Dragon-Scar Valspire; his father ,Jens Halvorssen, is the head of House Halvorssen, one of Valspire's most famous and respected noble families. despite his noble birth Fjurg has spent most of his life working with his hands. that's what the Halvorssens do. they're craftsmen. from the time he could hold a hammer his father taught him everything he knew, how to turn a lathe, how to sand wood, apply lacquer, how to use the family forge ect ect. Fjurg loved every minute of it and still does as he still works in his family's shop making everything from axes to ottomans with his father and younger brother, Berwald.
Trivia:
- his name is pronounced "Fyoorg"
- Fjurg is next in line to become the head of house Halvorssen. this scares the shit out of him
- every Halvorssen has their specialty. Fjurg's is leather working
- Fjurg has numerous scars over his arms and hands, the most notable one being his right pinkie nail. he smashed it with a hammer when he was 12.

Bio: Berwald was discovered by a 3-year-old Fjurg as an egg in the forest near Dragon-Scar. Fjurg and his father decided to take the egg home and decide what to do with it as they couldn't find any nest in the area. the egg hatched on their kitchen table and a tiny, 1 foot long, dark brown baby dragon emerged from the egg. through the persuasion of Fjurg's mother, Hilde, they decided to keep the baby dragon as a pet and named him Berwald. but over the years, Berwald began to show signs that he couldn't only recognize his family member's voices but fully understand them as well. so after about 4 years Jens and Hilde began to treat Berwald as less of a pet and more of an adopted son. as time passed Berwald learned how to work in the shop, breathe fire, and ,of course, fly.
Trivia:
- Berwald can't talk, despite all non-feral dragons being capable of speech. instead he communicates through grunts, bellows, growls, and even some sign language.
- Berwald's breed, the Firebolt, was believed to be extinct. Berwald is the first Firebolt seen in over 20 years
- Berwald loves to fly with Fjurg on his back, the two spend most of their off time flying around and exploring
- due to his ability to fly at up to 100 mph Jens, his father, has made Berwald in charge of making deliveries to other Valspirian cities. with Fjurg in tow of course.
- Berwald's favorite food is chicken. bar-b-q style

Bio: Zaya was born in Erifort's capitol city of Erin. from a early age she showed great skill in magic and was quickly dubbed a child prodigy. her mother, having been given the prodigal treatment herself, insisted Zaya be enrolled in normal classes at Erin Academy. Zaya aced almost every class, struggling only with alchemy and illusion magic. when zaya was about 13 years old she met Hugh in her healing magic class but didn't think much of the half-elf, seeing him as grumpy and foul tempered. years later when an alchemy recipe caused Zaya's hips to expand to ridiculous proportions Hugh was the only student who didn't make fun of her and in fact chased most of Zaya's bullies away. after this the two began to spend more time together, and eventually began dating. Zaya graduated top of her class at the age of 20. Zaya and Hugh would spend almost 4 years in a long distance relationship with Zaya staying in Erin while Hugh traveled with Allister; however the two have recently been reunited in Dragon-Scar as Zaya has begun to study under her uncle Ardorian, the Jarl of Dragon-Scar's steward and court mage
Trivia:
-Zaya is the tallest woman in the series (female dragons notwithstanding)
-Zaya's mother is Lithwen Gelren, the Chancellor of Erifort(Erifort being a Chancellery) which pretty much makes Zaya the president's daughter in american terms
-Zaya's gargantuan hips are both intentional and an accident. Zaya had a very petite figure throughout her teenage years and decided to use a well known alchemy recipe to increase the size of her hips. unfortunately she added too much of an ingredient and ended up with what you see now. oops
- the alchemy recipe she used is basically Formosa's version of plastic surgery. it can make you taller, shorter, increce your bust size, alter the shape of your nose, etc etc.
- Zaya has a beautiful singing voice
-Zaya's black hair is actually incredibly rare for a High Elf. she gets it from her father: the late Rullian Gelren, one of Formosa's greatest heroes
