All of these with these mechs seem to be telling a story about this armor in particular...
Study005 seems to be the first in the timeline, the knighting, or christening of the armor,
An interim piece (concept ) shows a time a little bit later than that... but is before the next piece:
Study0002 seems to be second, where the armor resides after a battle, overgrown.
This one seems to be third, rusting away in the water.
Then Study seems to be the final piece in the timeline, where it's polished, repaired, and now is positioned in a museum of this world.

I love all of them. Keep it up!

I don't think so because the mechs all have different helmets and chest decals.Β

Maybe... but machines have parts replaced all the time. But I do agree with you... it is something that makes them different. Perhaps a common style then?

It is possible that they are the same class or style just with a few changes/customizations.Β

Perhaps. Modifications are something that can occur quite frequently...

Yeah, especially for war gear that sees a lot of combat.

The colors remind me of nausicaa, miyazaki's painted background art

Reminds me of those pictures of old M4 Shermans rusting half submerged on a beach.

The war is long gone and now those war machines are part of the scenery and kids play around them.

In a way, it's bittersweet.

The final resting place of the Knights.

I wonder what happened in that battle, that caused the field to be flooded.

This is absolutely beautiful!

I love the choice of color you selected, it really brings out all the details.

The piece also gives me some ideas, would you mind terribly if I wrote a scene taking inspiration from your work?

I'd of course link back to the original and give credit for the inspiration.
