Great photo, great emotion. I love B&W- its brings all focus to the subject and its story, and give you contrast and raw texture.

yes i do like B/W, it gets rid of the distractions of colour and makes the subject the focus of the photograph

He doesn't look really sad, perhaps his facial impression should have been more sad. But great concept, nice picture and good technique.

Thanks for your critique, i was going for the look where the image gives a feeling of sadness without the subject making that feel through his expression, but you are right i could of done it better. thanks again for your feedback

No, the tear works really well in it. I just wanted to let you know that it's not just the tear that makes it feel that way
