My excerpt from the Factory Freaks AU:

Violet: Cold and calculated she’s by far the most bizarre of the group. Since her embarrassing end, she’s put all her energy into her job. She works as the lead “candy scientist” which is by far one of the most important jobs. Wonka has taken a liking toward her, mostly because of her good work ethic and because his experiment on her was “successful”. She’s allowed outside on occasion but has to wear a disguise to avoid suspicion. Because of the incident, she’s now permanently discolored. Her limbs are also more flexible than usual. She uses this to her advantage to get into tight spaces where others cannot.
