Really good symmetry here with the reflection. Good to see military photos that aren't someone being shot at/having been shot at for once.

Shooting with a gun is only half the battle -- the rest of us shoot with cameras. My inspiration for those photo: Reuters had a great shot of a detainee blindfolded and an american soldier reflected in a car window looking up at a helicopter passing over. It's probably my favorite picture ... Just trying to get close to the greatness in this one, I guess ...

Well I can't shoot a gun to save my life, so I guess there's hope for me yet. Now I just need to convince the boyfriend to start shooting with a camera instead, too... I remember seeing that Reuters photo actually, and thinking 'Holy crap thats a good shot', and this is a good tribute.
