Not so funny but, heh... You do remember this room in Silent Hill 2 right?Last time I played and got there I was almost expecting Henry to come crawling out of one of those holes.
I mean.. holes!
If I remember correctly James even says something like "did something just move?".
Well, that must've been Henry. But James would most likely think it was Mary P;
Aaanyway, this is actually an old piece I was thinking of redoing, if I ever was to post it, cause it was mainly a sketch I did when I thought of the idea. But, heck, I don't ever think I will redo it so I might as well post this one. I haven't posted Silent Hill stuff in a while so.

Actually, all four of the stories tie together in one way or another. You're dead on with the "what if it was Henry?"
I'm not sure if it WAS Henry in that room, but I remember reading and article that said it was in a gaming magazine once;
what's MORE interesting is the scrawly words on a building you can stock up in; the words say "A hole was here, but it's gone now."
In the fourth game, as Henry, you go through one of the holes and it leads you RIGHT to that same spot. (implying that Henry and James were in the town at the same time?)
though that's not really so surprising as it seems Henry's holes defy the logic of time and space.

also, in Silent hill 3, there's a seen where Heather can pull something out of a toilet, but she refuses to. this is a direct reflection of when James is forced to fetch the wallet out of the toilet.
Another part shows a figure slumped forward in a chair, rotting while watching TV; the same way that James found one.
though... thanks to a glitch you can actually swing the camera around in front of that person in two and you see that it actually IS James....

Oooh, I never even thought of that before. I remember there being written something about a hole, but I never considered Henry having anything to do with it. Or maybe I did but forgot, haha. Gee, it's been quite a while since I played.
I finished SH1 with my cousin recently but, well.. I really need to play the other games again too. I will once my cousin gets back here ;D

Eegads! I totally remeber that part too... I was on the phone with my friend, and I entered that room and started screaming about decaying legs. She thought I'd gone totally crazy. XD

Oh, I'm still in Brookhaven. I fuond a key but I dunno what to do with it...and there's a locked door which requiras some code to be entered. o_O I guess I'll finish the game in June when school is over

Now, considering that I had read a novelization of "Silent Hill 2" where I just finished reading this part, seeing this pop up was rather amusing. I always found it kind of funny how James says he thinks he saw one of the corpses move. There's your Mary!

You got a really awesome, Silent Hillish grunge look going on here, especially with the walls and the floor. You're better at transferring things you see onto paper better than I am, at least.
It would've been nice if all the corpse legs had been a little more rotted out, maybe a little dose of blood here and there on them. They look too clean to me. Easily fixable flaws, of course. I would've also recommended to tone down on the Noise effect a little, as it seems a little too much here, especially on the darker areas. But Noise is a good effect for "Silent Hill" fanart.
Seeing as SH2 and SH4 take place in a time gap of ten years, I suddenly imagined Henry coming out of the hole realizing this, and suddenly start singing "Time Warp".
James and Henry: "Let's do the Time Warp agaaaiiin!"
Pyramid Head: "It's just a jump to the left."
James and Henry: "And then a step to the riiight!"

I never felt sorry for James either. I mean, it's like he doesn't even know that his hands could be used to grab things like guns in the dark unlike other protagonists.
