I've always wondered, perhaps you know - what was up with those pictures of Jack in Chinese wargear? Was it just publicity stills, or were they from a cut scene?

I thought there was a continuity gaff in POTC3, when Jack's hanging from the parachute it does look like he's wearing slightly different clothes, and I thought it might be the Chinese ones. I watched the film again recently though, and it was just the rain effects confusing me.
