Hehe. My favorite is Strauss. Man, what a crazy looking dude. Really fun to draw.
Shotakovich wound up looking like a pissed off little kid. Haha. To me, anyhow...
Gershwin came out better than I expected. He was the hardest one, probably because he's so 'normal looking'. I mean, no crazy facial hair or any really exaggerated facial features.
Tchaikovsky looks like Joe with a major haircut.
But hey, I was happy with 'em!
Hope you guys like them. As far as I know, I'm caught up with these now, but if anyone has any more for me, let me know. This is too much fun!!

Aw, cool, glad you liked it. I looked at about 6 pics to get him right. There were some with him clean shaven but I liked the sideburns/stache look with the cowboy hat and cig. He does look odd with those other guys. Reminds me of the little Sesame Street thing...

Awesome! I actually thought the neat thing about Gershwin was how he looks so blandly normal, and yet he doesn't look boring. You still manage to infect him with a personality.

Gersh was the hardest just for that very reason. He just (unlike most of those musician types) looked so...normal.

Gosh, I'm so glad I found you! These cartoon'd composers are so adorable, they would cheer me up any day. I'm interested to see what you would do with Vincent Persichetti, not just because he's my favourite composer, but your style is just too cute.
Also, I imagined there being a Jazz version of this. I mean, there's orchestral, and the next thing I thought of was jazz. In your style, Ellington, Basie... Guillespie [with exaggerated cheeks!] etc. I think it would be fun practice if you were to consider it. :>
