I wasn't gonna work on this till Friday, BUT...I got excited about it and well...here it is. It's very Ant-esque in its...er...frantic-ness...
I wanted to post this in black and white, in Line-art mode, before colored or any alterations made...mostly cause you guys have indicated that you kind of like to see the WIP, also, because the finished page is going to look WAYYYYY different than this. So it'll be interesting to compare.
This page was penciled, inked, then the pencil lines erased (as always). I'll color and add boxes later.
Colored version should be up by Friday evening or Saturday at the latest.

Great drawing as usual, Amy. And the line art does look way different than the finished product. Both you line art and colored drawings are great.
Your strip would look good as a daily cartoon and a full-color Sunday strip, but you are way too good for such mediocrity.

What's frustrating is the scanner always messes with my libeart and it's frustrating. Like...it looks nothing like the original. Thanks for saying that though, it makes me feel better about it.

I know what you mean about scanners. I always have to do a lot of tweaking to get my AROTD pages to scan over clearly and properly. And it seems no two pages will scan the exact same way. Tiresome business.

Thanks! I liked Joe too. I did that frame with those old comics in mind (hence the funky 'surprised' lines in front of his face--I always loved that for some reason)...

Yes! And I talked to my boyfriend about getting a better mic for Skype!
I had to use Skype for my interview, so I am familiar with it. The mic I used, though, was real crappy.
Should be fun. I will let you know when he comes up with a microphone. He's a maintenance tech so he has some good stuff. I will keep ya posted!
